Betty Estelle Brooks

Betty Estelle Prince Brooks, 86, of Fuquay-Varina, passed away Tuesday morning at her home. Born May 19, 1928 in Raleigh, NC, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Estelle Crowder Prince. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Brooks and son, Billy Brooks. Betty is survived by her sons, Johnnie Brooks (Denise) of Garner, Lonnie Brooks (Patricia) of Willow Spring, Ray Brooks (Shannon) of Clayton, Danny Brooks (Susan) of Garner; daughters, Cheryl Adams (Dwight) of Raleigh, Betty Medlin (Linwood) of Willow Spring; 20 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:30 Friday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. The Family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
