Betty Gardner Holt

ANGIER – Betty Holt, 73, passed away Sunday at her home. Born in Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Earl and Lena Talton Gardner. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Angier. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 to 1:45 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier. Betty is survived by her husband, Carlton Holt; daughter, Angie McGee (Ricky) of Dunn; sons, Tommy McGee (Tammy) of Raleigh and Rodney McGee (Angel) of Angier; sisters, Sherry Hodge (Dennis), and Becky Clark; brothers, Doug Gardner (Carol), Teddy Wayne Gardner, Danny Ray Gardner (Rosa Lee); grandchildren, Charlie Thornton (Amanda), Candace Marshall (Alex), Jessica Chapman (Steven), Thomas McGee (Bethany), Taylor Stuenzi (Cody), Lacey McGee, Allie McGee, Dylan McGee (Miranda), and Dakota McGee; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Ava, Alice, Nathan, Sadie, Silas, Xander, Madilyn, and Kolten. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her sisters, Deborah Kay Arnold, Frances Snelgrove, and Carolyn Gardner; brothers, Earl “Mann” Gardner and Harvey Randall Gardner; and great-grandchild, Jayden Chapman.
