Betty Jane Bouquin

CARY-Betty Jane Bouquin, 89, passed away Wednesday at WakeMed in Cary. Born in FL, Betty was raised in Sanford, NC, but lived most of her adult life in Fredonia, NY. She was the daughter of the late James Alton Ray, Sr. and Myrtle Britt Ray. Betty is survived by her husband of 70 years, George Bouquin; daughter, Kathy Bouquin; sons, Donald Bouquin (Jeanette), David Bouquin (Carol), Douglas Bouquin (Sharron); brother-in-law, Charles Schibetta; grandchildren, Todd Bouquin, Robin Locklear, Gina Neal, Raymond Sauritch, Christopher Sauritch, Nicholas Bouquin, Nathaniel Bouquin, Andy Bouquin, Jason Bouquin, Tara Dimillo; several great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased by her sister, Sylvia Schibetta; brothers, John Ray and James Ray, Jr. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 14, at 11:00 AM at Kennebec Baptist Church, Angier. The family will receive friends after the service.
