Betty Jane Hobby

GARNER - Betty Jane Hobby, 72, died Thursday at Rex Healthcare. A native of Wake County, she was the daughter of late John Henry and Mertice Richardson. Betty was retired from Sams Club with over 20 years of service. Her lifelong joy was her family. With a heart of gold, she was always thinking of others. The holidays were extra special to Betty, as she always made her home everyones home. She has now joined her loving husband, Bill in heaven and they will be together for eternity. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Sunday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. Betty is survived by four children, Ginny Hobby, Cora Hobby, Billy Hobby, Jr., all of Garner and Tim Hobby and wife, Brenda of Clayton; sister. sister, Mary Hayes and husband, Kerney of Raleigh; half sister, Martha Arnette of Raleigh; half brother, John Richardson, Jr. of Greenville, SC; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Saturday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in Bettys memory to Feed the Children, P. O.
