Betty L. Ashworth

WILLOW SPRING - Betty Langdon Ashworth, 73, passed away on Wednesday. A native of Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Alton and Lunette Stephenson Langdon.Funeral services will be held Saturday 2:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at White Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Surviving: her husband, Wallace Papa Ashworth; daughter, Annette Sellew and husband, Thomas of Willow Spring; sons, Tommy Ashworth and wife, Sylvia of Fuquay-Varina, Tim Ashworth and wife, Gemma of Raleigh; sisters, Jean Wilson and husband, Glenn, Carol Price and husband, Curtis, Patricia Lee and husband, Wilson, all of Willow Spring, Nancy Anderson and husband, Frankie of Fuquay-Varina and Dale Watkins and husband, Jody of Garner; brother, Kenneth Langdon and wife, Doris of Willow Spring; grandchildren, Dawn A. Moorman, Don Ashworth, Richard Ashworth, T. J., Cody, Cory and Cary Anne Sellew, T. J. , Nathan and Tabitha Ashworth, Jerome, Jeriko, Julo and Justin Geneta; great-grandchildren, John Wayne, Sarahjane, James and Jesse Moorman, Madison, Nicholas, Cassidy and McKenzie Ashworth and Ethan Sellew. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, A. C. Langdon. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier and at other times at the home of Annette and Thomas Sellew.
