Angier - Betty Lou Bowden West, 80, passed away Saturday. Raised in Angier, she moved to Rhode Island where she lived for 20 years before returning home to Harnett County. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, step-mother and friend. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 P. M. at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Burial will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier. She is survived by her husband, Jessie B. West; sons, Danny Hinchcliffe (Donna), Ronald Hinchcliffe (Dori) and Keith Hinchcliffe (Kristen); sister, Sandra Anderson (Danny); brothers, Ed Bowden (Charlotte) Jerry Bowden (Judy) Cecil Bowden (Sue); grandchildren, Joshua Hinchcliffe, Caitlin H. DeClue (Joe) and Danielle Hinchcliffe; great-grandchildren, Caiden and Dawson DeClue; many loving step-children and a large and loving extended family. In addition to her parents and late husbands, Frank Hinchcliffe, Jr. and James M. Herring, Betty was preceded in death by her sister Ima Jean “Teeny” Davis. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.
