Wilmington– Betty Lou Lee, 75, formally of Angier, passed away on Tuesday at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. Born in Vermilion County, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Neff, Sr. and Velva Cotaleso Neff. Betty owned and operated Camelot Ceramic Shop for a number of years, but her greatest joy in life was raising her children. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Survivors, include her sons, Christopher David Lee and wife, Heather of Wilmington, Eric Christopher Hobaugh of Jefferson, IN, James Jewel Hobaugh and wife, Susan of Angier; daughter, Debbie Joanne Hall of Peoria, IL; sister, Barbara Delattre; brothers, Robert, Larry and William Neff; grandchildren, Sammie, Crystal, Katherine, Brian, Ciera and Benjamin Hobaugh, Kelsey Lee Custer; great grandchildren, Liam, Layton and Grayson. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, James Howard Lee; son, Richard Hobaugh; sister, Diane Buckley and a brother, Melvin Neff, Jr. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
