Betty Weaver Dean

RALEIGH- Betty Weaver Dean, 74, died Sunday. Born in Cumberland County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Robert and Beulah Sills Weaver. Betty worked at Capital Ice Market for over 20 years. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh. Survivors include her daughters, Betty Wilson, Barbara Flynn, Yvonne Cheroke, Yvette Hayes and Teresa Gray; sister, Lib Ammons; brother, Tony Weaver; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Ronald Lloyd Dean; her son, Ronnie Lee Hall and brothers, Johnny Weaver and Bill Weaver. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Tuesday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home.
