Bevoline H. Brooks

RALEIGH – Bevoline Harris Brooks, 87, died Tuesday. A native of Wake County, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Ruby Morris Harris. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday at St. Barnabas Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. Surviving are her daughter, Katherine Medlin Estes of Raleigh; son, James L. “Jimbo” Medlin and wife, Angie of Raleigh; sisters, Dorothy Nesselrodt of Willow Spring, Laura Dupree of Raleigh and Mary Toler of Grantsboro ; grandchildren, James Baucom, Leigh Britt, Darren Baucom, Wayne Estes, Jason Baucom, David Estes , Adrienne Baucom, Phillip Lee Baucom, Sydney Medlin and Wyatt Medlin as well as 14 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Medlin and George Brooks; daughter, Chloie Rose Baucom; brother, Phillip Harris and son-in-law, Robert Estes. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
