Billie Ann Smith

Fuquay-Varina- Billie Ann McLamb Smith, 86, passed away on Monday at Harnett Woods Nursing Home in Dunn. Born in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Estel McLamb and Vivian Matthews McLamb. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 29th at 11:00 AM at Kennebec Baptist Church Cemetery, Angier. Billie Ann will lie in state on Friday, May 28th from 9:00AM-4:00PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier for anyone that would like to pay their respects. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 28th from 9:00AM-4:00PM at Billie Ann’s home, 1345 Clayton Rd. Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526 for anyone that would like to greet the family. Billie Ann is survived by her son, David “Wayne” McLamb of Benson; daughter, Jennifer Smith of Palm Beach, FL; sister, Vicky Raynor of Dunn; grandchildren, Eric Lee Smith of Benson, Lauren Elizabeth Byrd and husband, John of Jensen Beach, FL; great grandchildren, Jayson Smith, Hunter Byrd, Jackson Byrd, Caidance Byrd and Bristol Byrd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Edward Smith, Sr.; sons, Danny C. McLamb, Ralph “Eddie” Smith, Jr.; brothers, Talbert G. McLamb and Estel Mack McLamb.
