Billie Joyce Stephenson

Billie Joyce Stephenson, age 90 of Angier, NC died Saturday, July 29, 2023 in Wake County, NC. She was born February 28, 1933 in Harnett County, NC to the late Lamon Fulton and Mary Martha Walters House and she was the widow of Joseph “Joe” Stephenson. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James House and his wife, Mary, Herman House and his wife, Jewel and Bobby House.

She is survived by her daughter, Trudy Chappell and her husband, Danny of Angier; her son, Tim Stephenson and his wife, Carolyn of Fuquay-Varina; her granddaughter, Stephanie Morgan; great-grandchild, Lane Morgan; her sister-in-law, Mavis House of Clayton and several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Angier United Methodist Church and she was a charter member of Chapter 351 of the Order of Eastern Star of North Carolina.

The family will receive family and friends Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM in the Angier United Methodist Church.

Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Angier United Methodist Church with burial following in Harnett Memorial Park.
