Billy Bruce Ford

Billy Bruce Ford, 78, went to meet his Lord on Saturday morning. He was born to the late Andrew Jackson and Ina Vay Bailey Ford.Billy served in the U.S. Navy and retired from Progress Energy with over 30 years of service.Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Tuesday at Aversboro Road Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park with military honors.He is survived by 20 nieces & nephews, numerous great and great-great-nieces & nephews.He was preceded in death by sisters, Annie Laurie Black, Sarah F. Johnson and Betty Ford, and brothers, Carl Ford, Connie Mac Ford, Leslie Ford and J.C. Ford.The family will receive friends Monday from 6-8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner.
