Billy R. Stewart

RALEIGH- Billy Rae Stewart, 90, formally of 2720 Layden St. passed away on Tuesday. A native of Harnett County, he was the son of the late John and Rhoda Matthews Stewart. In addition to his parents Billy is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Parker Stewart; sisters, Lillian Brown, Jean Funkhouser, Melba Weatherspoon, Ruby Smith and a brother, Harold Stewart. Billy is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Friday from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the service at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Angier.
