Billy Sears Garrard

Billy Sears Garrard of Raleigh, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2011. He was born in Apex, NC to the late Edward Joseph Garrard and Arlene Sears Garrard. He was a retired mail carrier with the US Postal Service with 29 years of service. Billy was a 1947 graduate of Hugh Morson High School and attended NC State. He was a member of the 30th Infantry National Guard Band for 9 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Cotter Garrard. He is survived by special friends Debbie and Bobby Wise. Graveside Funeral Rites will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Raleigh Memorial Park with Pastor Ray Wittman officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice. Arrangements by Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Raleigh.
