Blanche Nobling Price

Blanche Nobling Price, 93, went home to be with the Lord on Monday. A native of Wake County, she was the 2nd of five children born to the late Coley and Ida Kelly Nobling.Blanche enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, baking, fishing, as well as her involvement with her New Bethel Baptist Church Circle group and serving on the Shower Committee. She had the gift of hospitality, and even in her last days, being completely bedridden, her mind and heart were consumed making sure all her family and visitors had plenty to eat. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. She is survived by her son, Jerry (Debbie) Price of Pittsboro; three grandchildren, Jay Price and Jill Ware of Manteo and Eric Myers of Apex; six great-grandchildren, Jessie and Ethan Ware, Trevor Price, Jacob, Hannah and Layla Myers. She is also survived by one sister, Carrie Riddle (John, deceased), and one brother, Clarence (Peggy) Nobling, both of Garner, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Miller Price, and two brothers, Elmo (Inez, deceased) Nobling and Lawrence (Guynell) Nobling. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to New Bethel Baptist Church, Garner, NC or the Vision Fund of Northwest Community Church, Cary, NC or to Hospice of Chatham County.
