Bobby Griggs Guy

February 26, 1931 - July 27, 2012 ANGIER- Bobby Griggs Guy, 81, of Old Stage Road passed away on Friday. A native of Harnett County he was the son of the late Coy Lee Guy and Lucetta Griggs Guy. He was a veteran of the US Navy and a member of Angier Baptist Church. Bobby loved putting together older model cars and he and Mary Ann could be seen sporting around town in them when his health permitted. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at Angier Baptist Church with burial to follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann Winstead Guy, sons, Mike Guy and David Guy both of Idaho; sister, Ginger Guy Pleasant of Angier; and brother, Charles Guy and wife Elaine of Zebulon; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brothers Cary Lee Guy and Wallace Guy. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier and at other times at the home.
