Bobby Rudolph Waters

RALEIGH – Bobby Rudolph Waters, 88, passed away on Tuesday.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner on Sunday, October 23, 2022. Entombment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Clayton. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home from 12:45 PM – 1:45 PM.

Bobby is survived by his daughters, Joy Morgan (Van) and Gail Brown (Mike); siblings, Jane Jarrell (Pete) and James Waters (Joyce); grandchildren, Jeremy Morgan (Cathie), Patrick Morgan, LeAnn Gardner (Brandon), Steven Brown; and 8 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Tandy and Lucille Waters, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Joyce, and siblings, Russell, Frank and Billy Waters.

In addition to being an Ordained Deacon, Bobby served in several roles as a devoted member of Highland Baptist Church in Raleigh. Bobby was always generous in sponsoring his grandchildren’s sports and activities. Bobby and his brother, Frank, formed Waters Plumbing in 1983. Upon Franks retirement, Bobby took over full ownership of the company and finished out a 34 year career. Bobby was also an avid hunter of rabbit, deer and fox during his free time.
