Bonnie Faircloth Truelove

Bonnie Faircloth Truelove, 74, of Holly Springs, NC passed away peacefully on March 9, 2024 at Duke Medical Hospital surrounded by her family. Bonnie is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Waylon (Luvern) Truelove; daughter, Lori Cornell and husband Mike of Carthage, NC; son, Barry Truelove and wife, Misty of Benson, NC; brother, Donnie Faircloth and wife, Barbara of Linden, NC; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends.

Bonnie was born on December 27th, 1950, to the late John Dalmer and Nettie Faircloth. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Faircloth.

Bonnie loved the Lord and truly had a servant’s heart. She spent countless hours caring for others including the many years she worked as a preschool teacher. She loved to cook and spend time with her family and was the happiest surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She exemplified strength and most importantly faith through her many years of sickness.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, March 14 at Duncan Baptist Church, 12024 NC-42, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service at the Church. Burial will be at the Duncan Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family at the home of Barry and Misty Truelove at 58 Seahorse Ct. Benson, NC.
