Bonnie L. Clayton

GARNER – Bonnie L. Clayton, 86, affectionately known to her grandchildren as “Suga Mama”, passed away on Thursday. Bonnie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother aunt and sister. Her love was unconditional. In addition to her parents, Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Clayton and sister Kay Whitley. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Fellowship Baptist Church, Raleigh. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Fuquay-Varina. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. She is survived by her daughters, Bunny Weatherspoon, Connie Zimmerman, Alisha Das (Joseph) and Tammy Ennis (David); son, Ken Clayton (Wanda); seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and brother, Bobby Dennis (Alberta).
