Brenda Faye Hutton

Garner- Brenda Murphrey Hutton, 78, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022, at The Laurels of Forest Glenn. She was one of 10 children born to the late John Daniel and Virgie Brown Murphrey.

She was a member of Caraleigh Baptist Church and retired from the NC Department of Transportation. Brenda suffered many years with stomach issues and had to have supplemental nutrition through a feeding tube. She is now at peace with her Savior and her days of suffering are over.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel, Garner, North Carolina.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 57 years, Johnny Hutton; sisters, Rochelle Kemp, Jean Mason (Curtis); brothers, Yates Murphrey (Clara), Harvey Murphrey (Betty); In-Laws, Clyde Hutton (Linda), Dorothy Ragan, Donna Gould, and Linnie Murphrey; also, many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her siblings, Joseph Murphrey, Jesse Murphrey, Betty Freeman, Mary Pittman, and Barbara Rambeut.
