Brenda Sue Brownell

Brenda Sue Smith Brownell, age 68, of Willow Spring, NC died Thursday, June 27, 2024 in UNC Rex Hospital, Raleigh, NC. She was born October 31, 1955 to the late Walter Simon and Frances Delores Beasley Smith.

She is survived by her daughter, Tina Sue Henry and her husband, Bert of Dunn, NC; her son, Brad Everette Brownell of Willow Spring, NC; her sisters, Mary Frances “Oodie” Richards and her husband, J.R of Angier, NC and Linda Nye and her husband, Buddy of Angier, NC; her grandchildren, Brandon Lee Locklear, Hannah Reynolds and Aubreigh Brownell and one great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Jean Price and her brother, Wayne Smith.

Her visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 10:00 to 10:45 am in the Bryan Lee Funeral Home – Angier.

Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 11:00 am in the Bryan Lee Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park, Clayton, NC.
