SPRING LAKE – Brian Marshall Peacock, Jr, 5 years old, passed away Friday surrounded by his loving family after a brave and courageous 4 year battle with Leukemia. Funeral Services will be held Saturday March 21st at 3:00 PM at Angier Fellowship Church, Angier. Instead of dress attire the family wishes that everyone wear either a ‘Fight Like Jr. Shirt’ or the color orange in honor of Leukemia awareness. Brian is survived by his mother, Jena Koch of Spring Lake; father, Brian Marshall Peacock, Sr. and wife, Adrene of Raleigh; brothers, Jayden Koch, Braxton Peacock; his beloved Yorkie, Patrick; uncles, Joshua Koch and wife, Anna Jo of Angier, Mohammad “Wink” Williams of Benson; aunts, Shawonda Williams of Benson, Shemika Singleton of Newton Grove; grandparents, Gerald and Larissa Koch of Spring Lake, Linda Williams Peacock of Benson; great-grandparents, Margie Peacock of Newburgh, NY, Wendell and Jan Coombs of Valley Grande, AL; godparents, Melvin and Laura Griswold of Warner Robins, GA; numerous great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins. Brian is preceded in death by his grandfather, Marshall Peacock. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-3:00 PM at the church. The family would like to express their thanks to the UNC Hospital family for their exceptional care given to Brian over the last 4 years. In lieu of flowers the family wishes that you bring or mail an unopened toy to Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 300 E. McIver St. Angier, NC 27501 in Brian’s memory. The family is going to donate these toys to the UNC Children’s Hospital so that the kids there will always have a toy to play with. The family would like to say a special thanks to the Underground Bowling Association family, Silent Hero’s Motorcycle Club and the City of Raleigh Solid Waste Services Dept. for their support.
