Bridget Gwen Gaskins

Bridget Gwen Gaskins, 33, passed away peacefully November 5, 2014, at her familys home in Raleigh, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born December 19, 1980 in South Carolina, the daughter of and Kay Lynn Talbert Smith and Mark Wayne Gaskins. She attended Fuquay-Varina High School and Wake Tech studying IT applications. Bridget worked the last 8 years for InServ Corporation as a project administrator. She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents Virginia G. Herron and William Herron. Surviving are: her mother and step-father Tony W. Smith of Raleigh; her brother Chad W. Gaskins of Fuquay-Varina; son Derrick Burch of Raleigh; her sons father Donnie Burch of Lillington; grandparents Diane A. Haynes of Pekin, IL; David L. Talbert of West End, her uncles Mark W. Talbert of Melbourne, FL and Douglas A. Talbert of Staunton, VA; along with her aunts, uncles cousins. She was always a loving and devoted mother to her son, Derrick. Her beautiful smile will be missed by all. Cremation has been accorded. A celebration of life will be held November 8, 2014, at 3:30pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner.
