Bruce Edward Gustavson

WILLOW SPRING, NC - Bruce Edward Gustavson, 56, passed away on April 23, 2018. Born in Orlando, FL, he was the wonderful son of the late Verner and Gayle (Washburn) Gustavson. Bruce passed peacefully in our loving home in Willow Spring from a very rare and aggressive cancer, cholangiocarcinoma. Bruce went to Maynard Evans High, and then started his career in the HVAC industry in Florida. He worked for several HVAC companies throughout his career. Bruce loved life, family, friends, bowling, traveling, camping, and going to the lake. Also, Bruce had a great love for the sport of Nascar. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Debra (Deb) M. Gustavson of Willow Spring; his loving daughter, Jennifer Gustavson and Jeff Ross of Astatula, FL; loving son, Bruce Edward Gustavson II of Willow Spring; his only grandchild, Jayda Lynn Ross; his brothers, Steve and wife, Anna Gustavson and Scott Gustavson and wife, Tracy; his sister, Karen Gustavson Bittengle and husband, Paul; nieces, Chrisoula and partner Richard, Amanda, and Stephany, Teresa and partner Cameron, Brittany and husband John and Ashley; great-nieces, Alyssa, Kyra, Makayla, Mya, Kylia: nephews, Ryan and Eric; great-nephews, Eric, Cayden; sisters-in-law, April Cascarella-Allen and husband, Chad and Pennie Carter. Also preceded in death by brother-in-law Bobby Cascarella. A Memorial service will be held at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529 on Saturday May 12, 2018 at 3:00 pm. Following the Memorial service, we open our home at, 3008 Eric St. in Willow Spring, for Bruces Celebration of Life!!
