CW4 USA RET Bruce Webster Booth went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, June 22, 2017. He was born in New Hill, NC on November 17, 1933 to Bruce Raeford and Blanche Holland Booth. He married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Catherine (Kitty) Creech Booth on October 18, 1952 and they were happily married for 64 years. He was drafted into the US Army in 1953. He served 10 years in the Army and 30 years in the NC National Guard, retiring in 1993 with 40 years total military service. Survivors include his loving wife, Catherine (Kitty) Booth, who he always called “my bride”; son, David W. Booth (Dawn); daughter, Diana Booth Littleton (Tommy); sister, Anne Booth Keyes (Tom); sister-in-law, Jeanette Booth; niece, Mary Booth Farnell (Ray) and nephews, Earl Booth and Tony Carr (Paula). A Celebration of Life with military honors will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Catawba Springs Christian Church, with Pastor Chuck Woodruff officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9:00 pm Saturday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Rd., Garner, NC. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Catawba Springs Christian Church, 6801 Ten-Ten Rd., Apex, NC 27539 or to Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Cir., Raleigh, NC 27607.
