Bryan Daniel Stephenson

RALEIGH- Bryan Daniel Stephenson, age 59, died on September 19, 2020 at his home. Bryan was born June 22, 1961 in Johnston County to Barbara J. Byrd and the late Masecelle Stephenson. He attended Garner Senior High School where he graduated in 1979 and earned his diploma in Electrical Installation and Maintenance from Wake Technical Community College in 1981. Bryan retired from ThyssenKrupp Elevator in 2019 after 36 years as an elevator technician. Bryan enjoyed boating, amusement parks, concerts, and sports. He was passionate about NC State football, NASCAR, the Carolina Hurricanes (Go Canes!), and was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved family get-togethers and was always the family photographer- taking hundreds of photos and videos of his beloved family. He will be terribly missed. In addition to his mother, he leaves behind his sister, Dawn Pearce of Raleigh; brother-in-law and friend, Brian Pearce; nephew, Matthew; niece, Madelyn; and many close friends and family. Bryan was preceded in death by his brother, Dale Stephenson; and loyal dog, Diva. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on October 4, 2020 at Fellowship Community Cemetery in Angier, NC. Due to the pandemic, social distancing and mask wearing is encouraged.
