WILLOW SPRING – Rachel Michele Barbour, 34, passed away on Wednesday, February 3rd. Rachel was a cherished wife, beloved mother of five and a loving daughter. She was a treasured co-worker and a friend to many. Rachel loved her calling in life, which was nursing. Her passion for nursing allowed her to serve and help others. She enjoyed traveling, trips to the mountains and the beach with her family. Rachel is survived by her husband Van; daughters, Maddie and Oakleigh; sons, Noah, Levi and Isaac. Also surviving is her mother, Jill Sawvel of Angier; grandparents, Joyce and David Sawvel of Willow Spring; plus numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, coworkers, neighbors and friends who loved her and will dearly miss her. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 9th at 1:00 PM at Full Gospel Tabernacle, Fuquay-Varina. The burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Fuquay-Varina.
