B.T. Eastwood, Jr.

B.T. Eastwood Jr., 82, of Fuquay-Varina, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2022. He is survived by his wife Judith of 61 years; son, David and wife Lucinda; sister, Peggy Williford; nephew, Joey Williford and wife Lorrie and his niece, Donna Collins and husband Brett. He is predeceased by his parents, Thaddis and Louise Eastwood. B.T. was a deacon at Kennebec Baptist Church where he taught Sunday school, worked with the youth and began the tape-recording ministry for shut ins. B.T. also took great pride in being an avid gardener and enjoyed being outdoors. The family extends their sincere appreciation to all the caregivers at the UNC Rex Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center of Apex for their compassion, love and excellent service during this time. The special roses on the casket represent Jack, Lucky, Annie, Scooby-Doo, Buffy and Sam. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your local SPCA in B.T.'s name.
