Carl Poole, Jr.

WILLOW SPRING – Carl Poole, Jr., 72, passed away at his home on Saturday. Born in Wake county, he is the son of Jessie Howell Poole and the late Carl Poole, Sr. Carl proudly served his country in the US Army for seven years. A funeral service will be held at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier on Thursday, December 9th at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow the service at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home prior to the service. In addition to his mother, Carl is survived by his daughters, Angie Champion, Sabrina Carpenter, and Brenda Poole; sons, Tim Poole (Erin), Barry Byrd (Susan); sister, Linda Ablecop; and brothers, Michael Poole (Cindy) and David Poole (Amy); step-children, Angel Bennett, Gregory Jackson, twenty-one grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his father, Mr. Poole is preceded in death by his wife, Connie Poole; son, Robert Poole, and niece, Dana Cavalcante.
