Henderson-Carmen Beth Hart Pinkerton, 50, of Henderson, NC died Thursday, September 10, 2015. She was born in Raleigh, NC on May 19, 1965 to Michael Hart (deceased) and Betsy Maness. She was the oldest of three. Carmen is survived by her husband of 28 years, Randy Pinkerton, her three children, Justin Hart and wife Rebecca, McKenzy Hart, and Bethanie Pinkerton, her stepdaughter Jennifer Reiber and husband Derrick, and her stepson Chancie Pinkerton, as well as nine grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Alex Hart and wife Angela, and her sister Robin Hart Wascher and husband Dan, two nieces Katie and Micah, grandmother Rosalie Truelove and aunt Laura Truelove. Throughout her life, Carmen was employed in a wide range of occupational endeavors including the retail and service industry, satellite installation, providing daily care for her 91 year old grandmother, and most recently embarking on a new journey with Randy operating their own food truck with delicious southern fare. Carmen treasured her family, and her grandchildren meant the world to her. She loved to be on the water and also on the open road, whether it was on her motorcycle or in her beloved Camaro. She had a heart of gold and loved helping others and giving homemade gifts. She especially loved her dogs, Bobbi Joe and Fluffy. A funeral service will be conducted at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Rd., Raleigh, NC on Wednesday, September 16, 2015. The family will receive visitors from 12:30-1:45, and the funeral will be at 2:00. A procession to Montlawn Cemetery, 2911 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh will follow the service.
