Carolyn Denton Baucom

LILLINGTON – Carolyn Denton Baucom, 84, passed away Thursday at Emerald Healthcare in Lillington. Born in Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Garvey Clellon Denton and Ada Warren Denton.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 3rd at 1:30 pm at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Angier. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 3rd from 11:00am - 1:00pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier prior to the graveside service.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 61 years, George W. Baucom; son, Jeffrey L. Baucom (Patricia) of San Jose, Costa Rica; grandchildren, Jeffrey V. Baucom and Joshua D. Baucom, both of San Jose, Costa Rica; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Warren Denton, Annie Mae Chappell, Thelma Lyon, Randolph Denton, Wesley Denton, and Joseph Denton.
