ANGIER – Carrie Freeman Bullard, 92, passed away Tuesday at her home. Born in Bladen County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Hendricks Freeman and Lou Kelly Freeman.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 20th at 2:00 pm at Angier Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45 pm at the church prior to the service.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen Albertson (Eddie) of Raleigh, and Millicent “Missie” Belk (Matthew) of Wendell; granddaughter, Bailie Robertson Proveaux (Justin) of Wendell; step-grandchildren, Grayson Belk of Wendell and Ashton Belk of Wendell; one great-grandchild on the way; and sisters-in-law, Willie Mae Rumph, Debbie Bullard, Jackie Bullard; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Carrie was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Dock Bullard; brothers, Truitt, Wade, Rome, and Kelly Freeman; sisters, Jane Maples, Velma Sanderson, and Vida Thomas; and son-in-law, Philip Robertson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Transitions LifeCare, transitionslifecare.org or Angier Baptist Church, angierbaptistchurch.com in Carrie's memory.
