Carrie Madigan Musgrove

GARNER- Carrie Madigan Musgrove, 98, died peacefully in her home surrounded by family and prayer. She was the last surviving child of the late William and Minnie Estelle Madigan of Winchester, VA. Carrie is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Roy Musgrove, her son Donald Joseph Musgrove, and her seven siblings. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, October 1st at St. Marys Catholic Church, Vandora Springs Rd. Garner. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 pm in Coastal Carolina Veterans Cemetery, Jacksonville, NC. A kind and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she leaves to cherish her memory, daughters and sons-in-law, Faye and Louis Solomon, Diane and Jerry Lamp, Karen and Tom Yoder, and sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Linda Musgrove, Warren and Dawn Musgrove, and John and Debi Musgrove. Her strong Catholic faith and loving spirit are gifts she leaves to her sixteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. The world will be a less gentle place without her. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm Monday, September 30th at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
