Carrie P. Carter

CLAYTON – Carrie P. Carter, 96, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in the Mausoleum at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Clayton. Mrs. Carter was born in Johnston County on December 14, 1921 to the late Alex and Gertie Pulley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Carter, Jr.; sisters, Hazel Hall, Esther Ellis, Florence Ellis; and by her brothers, Durwood Pulley, Talmage Pulley, J.B. Pulley. She is survived by her sons, Linwood Carter of Garner; Jerry Carter of Raleigh, Larry Carter and wife, Kim of Clayton; 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
