Carson Duncan Young, Sr.

Raleigh- Carson Duncan Young, Sr., 81 of Raleigh died on Friday. He was born in Johnston County and was the son of the late Felton and Bedie Capps Young. He owned and operated the Person Street Tavern in Raleigh for many years. He is survived by his wife, Clara Thornton Young; son David Young and wife, Michelle; and two grandsons, Dylan and Noah Young. He was preceded in death by a son, Carson D. Young, Jr. and daughter, Shelby Young. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 1:00PM in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Road. Burial will follow in the Thornton-Norris Family Cemetery in Benson. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
