Catherine Dolan Mitchell

Catherine Dolan Mitchell, 69, of 1208 Vandora Ave., died Saturday surrounded by her loving family. A native of Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas I.and Alice B. Dolan. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, 11:00 AM at St. Mary Mother of the Church Catholic Church, Garner. Surviving: her husband, William S. Mitchell; daughters, Eileen Rabil and her husband, Dr. Donald Rabil of Raleigh, Julia Vorobiov and her husband, Michael Vorobiov of Apex and Cathy Egan and her husband, Michael Egan of Chatham NJ; son, William J. Mitchell and his wife, Dr. Wendy Long Mitchell of New York, NY; brothers, Thomas I. Dolan, Jr. of Newtown, PA and Michael Dolan of Hartford, CT: grandchildren, Cecelia, Maggie, Drew and Ryan Rabil, Nick and Steve Vorobiov, Liam and Colin Egan, and Noelle Mitchell. Catherine was predeceased by her parents and her brother Gerald J. Dolan. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Wednesday Bryan-Lee Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 PM. The family would like to thank Dr. Maha Elkordy, Janet Dickmander and all the doctors and nurses from the Cancer Centers of North Carolina as well as the nurses and staff at the Hospice of Wake County for their tremendous support and compassion during her illness.
