Catherine Elizabeth Edwards

Cathy Edwards died peacefully on Saturday, March 5, 2016 in her home. She was a mother, grandmother and a friend. She loved to collect teddy bears, play in her yard, watch NASCAR and cheer the Blue Devils on. But above all things, she loved spending time with her grandson, David. He was the love of her life and brought her so much joy. Cathy is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Weiland and husband Andrew of Garner, NC; two grandchildren, David Robert and William Anthony; sister-in-law, Adelle Upchurch and husband James of Wake Forest, NC and her nephew, James Jr. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 9th at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home.
