Catherine Greene Brannon

CLAYTON - Catherine Greene Brannon, 89, died Wednesday. Born in Greenville SC, she was the daughter of William George Greene and Bessie Mae Phillips. She was the youngest of five children. She was a Christian and active member of her church and her community. She owned and operated Catherine’s Crabtree Florist for many years. She had a love for the Lord and shared that with many people by teaching “Experiencing God” classes. She was a faithful and humble servant who will be missed by many. A celebration of her life and legacy will be held on Sunday October 28, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Highland Baptist Church, Raleigh. Burial will follow at the Baptist Center Church Cemetery, Clayton. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home on Saturday October 27, 2018 from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Survivors include her children, Barry Jamison Brannon (Becky) of Clayton, Samuel Craig Brannon (Christina) of Novato, CA and Cathy Brannon Ennis (Steve) of Garner; grandchildren, Anna Leigh Brannon, Lauren M. Brannon, Stephanie McMaster, Ryan Gabrio-Brannon, Loren Gabrio-Brannon, Casey D. Ennis, Kelsey L. Ennis, Julien Tipton, Garrett Tipton; great grandchild, Julien Brannon. Family requests that Memorial Contributions be made to Heartland Hospice or Highland Baptist Church.
