Catherine L. Mccraven

ANGIER – Catherine L. McCraven, 83, passed away Thursday night at Wake Med Hospital in Raleigh. A native of Harnett County she was the daughter of the late Joseph Daniel Pleasant and Mabel Dupree Young. Funeral Services will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Burial will follow in the Plainview Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Angier. Family will receive friends from 12:30 – 2.00 PM, prior to the service at the funeral home. She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Lou Matthews and husband, Robert of Culpepper, VA, Carolyn Jean Howell and husband, Billy of Coats, Becky Lynn Powers of Alexandria, VA; son, Melvin Lee Langdon and wife, Melissa of Four Oaks; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; a niece, Celia Penny and a nephew, Thomas Young. In addition to her parents, Catherine is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Young and a brother, Charles Young.
