Catherine Ryder Brainard

Catherine Ryder Brainard, 91, peacefully entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Saturday August 30, 2014. A celebration of Catherines life will be held Thursday September 4, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Transitions LifeCare Chapel 250 Hospice Circle Raleigh, NC. The family will receive friends following the service. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Cary.Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; Frank and Laura Ryder, her husband, H. Warren Brainard Jr. and her sister Frances Dickey.She is survived by her daughter; Kristina Register and husband Anthony, sons Roger Brainard and wife Gaylen, David Brainard and wife Jane, grandchildren, Jake Register, Delaney Register, Jeannie Alexander, Christopher Brainard and John Seagondollar, four great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Nelson Dickey, sister-in-law Janice Belk and husband Robert and many beloved nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations to Transitions LifeCare 250 Hospice Cr.
