Cathy Pollard Mclamb

Cathy Pollard McLamb, 61, of Raleigh, passed away at home Aug. 31, 2021 with her sons by her side. A native of Johnston Co., she was the daughter of the late Albert Pollard and Nealie Christine Creech. Cathy worked for the State of N.C. for her entire career, retiring from the Dept. of DHHS. Funeral service will be at Noon Friday Sept. 3, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Burnell Baptist Church Cemetery, in Four Oaks, NC. Along with her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Pollard Kendall and a brother, Albert Pollard, Jr. Survivors include her sons, Steven Scott and wife, Becca and Kevin Scott and wife Jennifer; sister, Jackie Mercer and partner David Austin, and grandson, Landon Scott. The family will receive friends and relatives prior to the service at the funeral home from 11:00 – 11:45 AM.
