C.B. (Ret.) Sfc Marcom, Jr.

CLAYTON – SFC C.B. Marcom, Jr., USARNG (Ret.), 74, passed away Wednesday evening surrounded by his loving family. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 6, in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery, Clayton. C.B. was born in Johnston County to the late Burnice and Almeta Marcom. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Jeanette Marcom; and a son, Tony Marcom. He is survived by his wife, Dr. Robin Tutor Marcom; sons, Todd Marcom and significant other, Hope Hatcher, Kevin Tutor and wife, April; grandchildren, Grayson Marcom, Bailey Tutor, Parker Tutor, Shaun Tutor; sisters, Joyce Tart and husband, Wade, Janice Kennedy and husband, Jimmy; brothers, Glenwood Marcom and wife, Peggy, Russell Marcom, special brother-in-law, Ron Evans; special sister-in-law, Trudy Thornton, special nephew, R.J. Thornton and significant other, Jean White; special nieces, Stacy Thornton and Terri Levin; special family friend, Delois Spellman; a host of extended family and friends; and his “Angel Cat,” Bailey. The family will receive friends at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner on Sunday from 5:00 until 7:00 pm; and other times at the home.
