Charles Peatross Hall, 68, of Raleigh, passed away on July 7, 2024, after a brief battle with cancer. He was born on September 7, 1955 in North Carolina. He was the son of the late James Ramsey Hall and Martha Peatross Hall.
Charles was a computer programmer and retired from SAS in 2020. He was a graduate of NC State and he previously worked for both Rex Hospital and the News and Observer. He loved books, history, talking to people, electric cars, and animals, especially cats. He was dearly loved and will be missed every day.
Charles is survived by his wife, Denise Boswell Hall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip R. Hall.
A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, September 29 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Borden House at Fred Fletcher Park, 820 Clay Street, Raleigh, NC 27603. Remarks will be from 12:30 to 1 pm. Donations can be made to goathouserefuge.org or Wake County Animal Center in memory of Charles Hall.
