Charles Richard Norris

RALEIGH - Charles Richard Norris, Sr., 75, passed away Wednesday.He was born in JohnstonCounty, the son of the late Larkin Bill Norris and Bertha Caudle Norris. On September 20, 1953, he married the light of his life, Betty Norris. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday in the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum at Montlawn Memorial Park. Entombment will follow the service. Mr. Norris is survived by his wife, Betty N. Norris; daughters, Denise Boldt and husband, Karl of Cary and Marion Elise Lattimore and husband, Doug of Lugoff, SC; sons, Richie Norris and wife, Brenda of Princeton and Mickey Norris and wife, Renee of Clayton; sisters, Ruth Stephenson of Coats, Betty Stewart of Benson and Ann Langdon of Willow Spring; brothers, Edwin Norris of Angier and Kenneth Norris of Benson, as well as his beloved grandchildren, Karla James and husband, Scott, Steven Pearce and wife, Allison, Justin Boldt and wife, Cara, Beth Long and husband, Danny, Michelle Wallace and husband, Banks, Teresa Wall, Paul Martin and wife, Alicia, Keri Byrd and husband, Dusty, Sara Norris and great-grandchildren, Jesse, Cole, and Lila Boldt, Connor James, McKenzie Wall, Caleb and Summer Long, Blakely and Finch Wallace. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Roy and Earl Norris and sisters, Joyce Tart and Ruby Porter. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Friday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
