Charles Richard Wallace

LILLINGTON – Charles Richard Wallace, 55, affectionately known as “Chollie”, passed away on Monday at Duke University Hospital in Durham. Born in Chatham County, he was the son of Richard B. Wallace and Becky Brooks Wallace of Lillington.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 27th at Lillington United Methodist Church, 1201 S. Main St. Lillington, NC 27546. Burial will follow the service at Westview Cemetery, Lillington.

In addition to his parents, Charles is survived by his son, Michael Wallace of Holly Springs; sister, Mary Leigh Howell and husband, Ross of Greensboro; the mother of his son, Paige Lanier Wallace of Holly Springs; in addition, the family wants to extend a heartfelt thank you to his close friend, Kathi Dawson, for her love and support of both Charles and the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lillington United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 506 Lillington, NC 27546 in Charles’s memory.
