Charles Rogers

GARNER– Charles Rogers, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 25, 2023. Charles was born on December 9, 1938, in Wake County, North Carolina. He was the son of the late Huddie and Elsie Mangum Rogers.

A career home builder, he owned and operated Rogers and Son builders for many years. He was also a longtime member of the Garner Volunteer Fire Department as well as being an active Mason and Shriner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Fay Rogers, brothers, Bryant, Fred, and Donald Rogers.

Charles is survived by his daughter, Beverly Johnson; son, Tony Rogers (Lynette); grandchildren, Amber Crocker (Matt), Hunter Rogers (Rachel), Tucker Rogers (Brooklyn), Conner Rogers, and Meghan Evans (Brittany); great-grandchildren, Chloe and, Chandler Crocker, and Oaklynn Evans.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
