Charles W. Foggiano

Smithfield- Charles Wayne Foggiano, Jr., 90, died August 14th. Born in the Bronx, NY, he lived in TN and NJ before moving to NC. He was a WWII vet who received a Bronze Star, Silver Star, Purple Heart and a Combat Infantrymans Badge. He is survived by his wife, Lera Leidy Foggiano; son, Bruce Foggiano and wife, Janice of Garner, NC; grandsons, Neil Foggiano of NC, Heath Foggiano and wife, Jennifer of NC; granddaughter, Brianna Stevens and husband, Sam of NC; son, Ronnie Foggiano and wife, Lori of Clairmont FL; grandsons, Steve and Chris Foggiano of Clairmont FL; Jay Foggiano and wife, Nichole of NJ; granddaughter, Jennifer Gertenmaies and husband, Brian of NJ; eight great- grandchildren; step children, Albert E. Striebel, II and wife, Linda of NJ; Darlene L. Striebel of TN; step grandchildren, Albert E. Striebel III of NJ, Kerry Smith and wife, Jennifer of TN, Lauren Kearns and husband, Mike of NJ, Dawn Kizer and husband, Doug of PA, Chelsea Skidmore of TN; nine step great-grandchildren and special friends Tom and Vickie Ries of NC. Services will be August 23rd 11:00am at St. Pauls Episcopal Church in Smithfield, NC. In lieu of flowers, donations made to SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, St. Pauls Episcopal Church in Smithfield, NC or The American Lung Association.
