Charles Willard Wall

GARNER – Charles Willard Wall, 77, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday.

A funeral service will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at Friendly Chapel Church, Benson. Burial will follow at New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Garner. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.

Charles was a loving son, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather who worked hard his whole life and will be dearly missed.

In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his daughters, Tina Mae Wall and Charlotte Dixon, granddaughters, Roma Khalil and Chasity Rhodes.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; daughter, Dana Rhodes; siblings, Lois Thompson (Alfred), Louise Thompson (Wallace), Joe B. Wall and Brenda Baker (Pastor Floyd); grandchildren, Jessica Dixon and Amber Hale, great-grandchildren, Orlando, Lily, Jasmine, Kashden and a large and loving extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friendly Chapel Church, 11455 NC-50, Benson, NC 27504 or to the charity of one’s choice.
