Charlie Ray Johnson

Angier – Charlie Ray Johnson, 81, passed away on Wednesday at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Harnett County, he was the son of the late Dalmer C. Johnson and Maybelle Frazier Johnson.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 8th at 11:00 am at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Wyonna Adams Johnson; daughter, Dawn Johnson of Angier; daughter-in-law, Sandra Johnson of Sanford; sisters, Linda Faye Clack of Duncan and Brenda Kaye Duncan of Angier; grandchildren, Bryan Young (Crystal), Katherine Hufton, Angela Crisp (David), Blake Johnson, Mandi Johnson, and Cassie Currin; great-grandchildren, Kaiden Young, Dallas Johnson, Leighton Crisp, Sawyer Johnson, Alissa Clarke, Bryce Johnson, and Elijah Mason.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, William Colon Johnson; and a sister, Mildred Matthews.
