Chris Andes

FUQUAY-VARINA –Christopher “Chris” John Andes, 61, passed away on Tuesday at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Born in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, Chris was the son of the late John and Martha Hussey Andes. Chris was a kind and loving person that was loved 27 by his family and friends who will never forget him. He had a heart for serving others which was evident by his 8 years of honorable service in the Marine Corps. Even years after his service he would say its not that you were a Marine its that you are a Marine. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 9th at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Chris is survived by his loving wife, Cheri C. Andes; children, Emily Andes of Clarksville, TN, Kyle Andes of Fuquay-Varina, Berlin Carroll of Lima, OH, Laura Blizzard (Steven) of Pikeville, and Barry “JD” Carroll (Holly) of Fuquay-Varina; sisters, Loretta Pichey (Michael) of Wilson and Joannie Redlhammer (Al) of Davie, FL; brother, John Andes (Laureen) of Ocean, NJ; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Chris was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Andes.
